Jean Nouvel (b. 1945, France) is a Paris-based architect and founder of Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Jean Nouvel Design, one of the largest architectural practices in France, which specializes in architecture, urban design, landscape design, product and industrial design, and interior design. Known for his emphasis on contextual integration and for his wide-ranging style, Nouvel was awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2008.
