Konstantin Grcic (b. 1965, Germany) is a Munich-based industrial designer who combines deep research with an investigation into emerging technologies. He trained as a cabinetmaker before studying design at the Royal College of Art (London). In 1991, Grcic established his studio Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID). He has since designed furniture, lighting, and other products for clients including Classicon, Established & Sons, Flos, Magis, Muji, Plank, and Vitra. His work is in the permanent collections of MoMA (New York) and the Centre Pompidou (Paris), among others.
