Maharam is seeking a Treasury Coordinator for our Yaphank, NY location. The Treasury Coordinator will process cash receipts; post payment/adjustment applications to customer accounts; assist with sales tax issues/audits; application of client payments; post client account adjustments; maintain cash transaction spreadsheet on a daily basis; investigate outstanding cash issues as they arise; and assist manager with bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and two to three years of treasury/cash management experience, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is a must.
Maharam is seeking a Sales Representative for our Washington DC market. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our collection, including the promotion of Maharam products to the Architecture and Design community, as well as other industry-related clients, such as office furniture dealers and wallcovering contractors. The successful candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, and a well-informed communicator with a strong record of accomplishments and successful history of project involvement. The candidate must be looking to further their creative talents within the sales arena and possess the ability to effectively partner with and motivate others. The position requires the highest level of commitment to integrity. A degree is preferred, in the textile and/or design industry. Organization and time management skills are a must.
Maharam is seeking a Resource Coordinator for our Yaphank location. The Resource Coordinator will interact with resources to place orders, liaison with sales to expedite and follow up on orders, process invoices and charge backs, handle cost quotes, and tests IT projects. The successful candidate will have PC proficiency with excellent keyboarding skills, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
