Regional Sales Coordinator
New York City

Maharam is seeking a Regional Sales Coordinator for our New York City office. The Regional Sales Coordinator will train and supervise a team of Sales Coordinators, manage assigned showroom, provide general administrative support/executive support, and serve as a primary resource for general questions regarding policy, systems, training. Additionally, the Regional Sales Coordinator will provide support to upper management, sales and executive; assist with local client events and administer showroom standards.
This position will liaise between Sales and multiple departments including operations, resource management, quality assurance, warehouse staff and product management. Must possess strong analytical and leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, well organized, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred along with 5 years of administrative experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Experience in our industry is a plus but not required.

Digital Asset Librarian
New York City

Maharam is seeking a Digital Asset Librarian for our New York City office. The Digital Asset Librarian is responsible for overseeing Maharam's medial and communication digital asset library using Bynder (Maharam's DAM, digital asset management system). They will work closely with Media and the Communications team to collect and organize a variety of assets and to tag these with the appropriate metadate as well as train and regulate users in the best practices of Bynder. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to: establish and maintain the taxonomy responsible for the architecture of Bynder; filter and ingest new assets into Bynder; manage the varying levels of users and their corresponding permissions; educate stakeholders on metadata and file organization approach and connect with Bynder representative for product upgrades and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Library Sciences or related field; 3-5 years of experience in asset management and taxonomy organization. This position has direct communication with Maharam Media and Communications and light contact with sales users as needed for training support.

Machine Operator
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking an Machine Operator for our Yaphank, NY location. The Machine Operator will operate turret truck and/or order picker machines, pick textile rolls from shelves and move to order processing staging area, return unused rolls of textiles back to shelves, stock shelves with newly received textile rolls, able to lift up to 70lbs. when necessary. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented and able to work independently. Verbal and written fluency in English is required. Maharam is offering a $250 bonus which will be paid to new hires after reaching their third month of employment and an additional $250 after reaching six months.

Director, Accounting & Finance
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking a Director, Accounting & Finance for our Yaphank, NY location.
This position provides leadership, directs the accounting and finance departments, oversees accounts payable, budgets, finance, and general accounting functions for the Textile Group of Brands. Essential functions include but not limited to, close/financial reporting - indirect oversight of the company's monthly close and financial reporting process; audits - evaluating year-end financial audit package, supervise SOX and sales audits; oversight of treasury functions including cash management; oversight of all credit functions of the business, direct monthly and annual budgeting processes; oversight of business planning and analysis, supervise the sale and use tax and VAT functions; manage joint venture reporting and third party agreements; communication with counter parts at the parent company, outside consultants and advisors; entity consolidation reporting including consolidating international entities; financial reporting and communication for monthly results to all levels of the business; hire, train and mentor staff. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, foreign currency and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Also required is knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, knowledge of federal and state financial regulations and ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. A working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets and product-line profitability analysis is also required. This position also requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Must be able to participate in and facilitate group meetings. A BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related major, with CPA certification preferred. 5-7 years of experience in management is required.

Manager Finance

Maharam is seeking a Manager in the Finance department at our Yaphank, NY location. The Manager will oversee the company's finance functions inclusive of budgeting, forecasting, cash management and credit analytics. The main responsibilities include overseeing cash management function including cash flow projections, overseeing the Credit and AR function including general AR analytics, customer credit limit analytics and negotiations with customers regarding payment terms, create and implement company-wide budgets, work with Manager of Accounting on monthly close for variance analysis to plan and forecast, forecast modeling and ad-hoc reporting, manage joint venture reporting and third party agreements including Herman Miller partnerships and hire, train and mentor finance staff. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related major with five to seven years of management experience in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
