Sales Coordinator
New York, NY

Maharam is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our New York sales staff. The position is located in our New York City Office. The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support, assist clients, handle heavy phone work, process sample requests, mail/file/fax, place and track orders, and maintain the sample library. The successful candidate will have PC proficiency with excellent keyboarding skills, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. Two years of related experience preferred.

Order Processor
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking an Order Processor for our Yaphank, NY location. The Order Processor will pack UPS and freight orders requiring heavy lifting (approximately 50 lbs.), load and unload trucks, pick orders and stock shelves, and receive and ticket inventory. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented and able to work independently. Verbal and written fluency in English is required. Maharam is offering a $250 bonus which will be paid to new hires after reaching their third month of employment and an additional $250 after reaching six months.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our collection, including the promotion of Maharam products to the Architecture and Design community, as well as other industry-related clients, such as office furniture dealers and wall covering contractors. The successful candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, and a well-informed communicator with a strong record of accomplishments and successful history of project involvement. The candidate must be looking to further their creative talents within the sales arena and possess the ability to effectively partner with and motivate others. The position requires the highest level of commitment to integrity. A degree textiles and/or design is preferred. Organization and time management skills are a must.

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Maharam is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for our Distribution Center in Yaphank, NY. The QA Coordinator will review and resolve QA claims in a timely manner; enter replacement orders, log notes and credits; communicate with all internal departments, outside Resources and clients regarding claim resolutions; handle and maintain UL LOT control weekly; initiate charge backs to the Resource for defective yardage and batch all charge backs to accounting monthly. The successful candidate will have PC proficiency, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. This position requires the ability to oversee several claims and their resolution daily and interact with clients and Sales daily.

Logistics Coordinator
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Distribution Center in Yaphank, NY. The Logistics Coordinator will process domestic, import and export (ocean/air) shipments (documentation, communicate with forwarders, customs clearance, track orders, get quotes/arrange document LTL shipments, coordinate our weekly consolidations from our warehouse); process receiving of our inventory into our facility; ensure all documentation is accurate and complete with freight forwards; review, log and approve freight invoices; troubleshoot international and domestic shipments; conduct various analysis for logistics optimization and cost-savings for accounts; and prepare and maintain reports. The successful candidate will have PC proficiency, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. In addition, this position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, know of international shipping logistics is a must and experience with UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship Manager is a plus.
