Textile Engineer
New York City, NY

Maharam is seeking a Textile Engineer for our New York City office. The Textile Engineer will be responsible for researching and developing new products for Edelman, Knoll Textiles, and Maharam. This position will work with internal departments including design, product management, quality assurance, resource management and externally with suppliers and resources. The successful candidate must understand textile processes and manufacturing from fiber to finish with a knowledge of textile technology across all product categories. The candidate must be able to problem-solve, prioritize and organize tasks with excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. This role requires both self-motivation to work autonomously, as well as in a team setting. A bachelor's degree in textile engineering and 5 years of experience is preferred.

Machine Operator
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking a Machine Operator for our Yaphank, NY location. The Machine Operator will operate turret truck and/or order picker machines, pick textile rolls from shelves and move to order processing staging area, return unused rolls of textiles back to shelves, and stock shelves with newly received textile rolls. Maharam is offering a $250 bonus which will be paid to new hires after reaching their third month of employment and an additional $250 after reaching six months.

Order Processor
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking an Order Processor for our Yaphank, NY location. The Order Processor will pack UPS and freight orders, load and unload trucks, pick orders and stock shelves, and receive and ticket inventory. Maharam is offering a $250 bonus which will be paid to new hires after reaching their third month of employment and an additional $250 after reaching six months.
