Order Processor

Maharam is seeking an Order Processor for our Yaphank, NY location. The Order Processor will pack UPS and freight orders requiring heavy lifting (approximately 50 lbs.), load and unload trucks, pick orders and stock shelves, and receive and ticket inventory. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented and able to work independently. Verbal and written fluency in English is required. Maharam is offering a $250 bonus which will be paid to new hires after reaching their third month of employment and an additional $250 after reaching six months.

Sales Representative

Maharam is seeking a Sales Representative for our New Jersey/Long Island markets. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our collection, including the promotion of Maharam products to the Architecture and Design community, as well as other industry-related clients, such as office furniture dealers and wall covering contractors. The successful candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, and a well-informed communicator with a strong record of accomplishments and successful history of project involvement. The candidate must be looking to further their creative talents within the sales arena and possess the ability to effectively partner with and motivate others. A&D Sales Manager
Europe

Maharam is seeking an A&D Sales Manager for Europe. This role will travel to client locations with local Sales Representatives to foster ongoing relationships with A&D and further develop brand awareness, product familiarity, and ensure "first look" consideration. Candidate must be experienced in project management and cross selling, and be a strategic partner to Maharam Sales Reps in their respective markets. Initial and ongoing training of Sales Representatives in the field will be a key part of this role, as our organization continues to grow across the region. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for maintaining their own roster of clients in a defined region, and increasing revenue across all product categories. This position reports to Vice President Regional Sales, Europe, and will work alongside to help identify, develop and implement local strategies based on specific markets and clients. Financial Coordinator

Maharam is seeking a Financial Coordinator to join the Finance Team! The candidate will process cash receipts, payment/adjustment applications to customers' accounts, and routine cash analysis . Responsible for VAT and Sales Tax related maintenance and filings. Reporting function for internal metrics. The position reports to the Manager of Finance. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment; detail oriented and able to work independently; good problem solving skills; organized and able to multi-task; experience in remote scanner and lockbox; excellent communication and written skills; and ability to work with levels of staff in the company. This includes but not limited to the accuracy of interfaces, data analysis for journal entries, reconciliation reporting and analytics. The candidate will represent the accounting department when interacting with internal and external customers. The candidate will also perform the following: Maintain supporting schedules for the General Ledger, prepare reconciliations and tie-out reports related to the month end close for three companies; support the accounting department with different financial statement presentation and quarterly financial reports; review monthly variances for performances to plan/forecast; review variances in reconciliation through data manipulation; perform monthly account reconciliation; maintain intercompany reconciliation schedules; prepare analytical analysis for both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet; Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis; prepare and analyze year-end audit package, including schedules and reporting requirements; assist management with company and departmental projects; assist accounting team with monthly close, financial reporting, business analytics and projects. The main responsibilities include overseeing cash management function including cash flow projections, overseeing the Credit and AR function including general AR analytics, customer credit limit analytics and negotiations with customers regarding payment terms, create and implement company-wide budgets, work with Manager of Accounting on monthly close for variance analysis to plan and forecast, forecast modeling and ad-hoc reporting, manage joint venture reporting and third party agreements including Herman Miller partnerships and hire, train and mentor finance staff.
