The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support, assist clients, handle heavy phone work, process sample requests, mail/file/fax, place and track orders, and maintain the sample library. The successful candidate will have PC proficiency with excellent keyboarding skills, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, organizational and multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. Two years of related experience preferred.

The candidate must be looking to further their creative talents within the sales arena and possess the ability to effectively partner with and motivate others. Senior Vice President, Operations
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking a Senior Vice President, Operations. The SVP, Operations will be an experienced and educated leader whose ambassadorial skills, problem solving ability and strategic thinking can help ensure and maintain the company's position as an industry frontrunner in design, service and performance. The position reports directly to the company President and offers strategic vision to help support the company's need to grow and increase profitability by making certain that the operational aspect of the business is both efficient and effective in meeting its goals. This involves, but is not limited to, leading and coordinating the implementation of operational strategies and objectives across multiple departments; creating metrics for improving business processes; consistently challenging each aspect of the operational approach to improve product margin; monitoring and analyzing inventory; meeting with key customers, resources and vendors to sustain/strengthen relations and align our collective expectations; managing an expense budget to company's expected variance each month; researching, analyzing, validating and documenting effectiveness of existing operational business processes and developing strategies for meeting company goals and objectives and making certain that the design/aesthetic needs of the company are consistently aligned with the operational vision of the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff across multiple operational disciplines and major projects or initiatives. Helpdesk Technician
Yaphank, NY

Maharam is seeking a Helpdesk Technician for our Yaphank location. The main responsibilities include troubleshooting, client installs, file/print sharing, remote access issues, TCP/IP, DHCP, DDNS and PC hardware/printer. Must be able to support any application issue in MS Office 2016 and have support level experience in Office 365, Anti-Virus/Malware detection, Active Directory, Windows 10 TCP/IP network environment, Apple iOS, Apple hardware and mobile device management. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of helpdesk experience with a two year college degree and TCP/IP troubleshooting required. Moderate to heavy lifting, strong communication and phone skills a must, be detail oriented and have HTML and dynamic HTML experience a plus.

Design Coordinator

Maharam is seeking a Design Coordinator for our New York location. The Design Coordinator will work with the design team and manage the product development process. The essential functions of the position include coordinating and managing design projects with Maharam staff and resources, supervise and direct the testing of textile projects, planning the product introduction schedule, managing the on-time shipment of approval samples, and leading and directing the work of others to accomplish goals. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, will be detail oriented, assertive yet pleasant and professional, and be proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel & Outlook). A minimum of five years work experience with project management and/or supervising skills necessary; bachelor's degree preferred.

The Sales Ambassador will be responsible for selling our collection, including the promotion of Maharam products to the Architecture and Design community, as well as other industry-related clients, such as office furniture dealers and wall covering contractors. The successful candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, and a well-informed communicator with a strong record of accomplishments and successful history of project involvement. The candidate must be looking to further their creative talents within the sales arena and possess the ability to effectively partner with and motivate others. The position requires the highest level of commitment to integrity. A degree is preferred, in the textile and/or design industry with five plus years of sales experience. Organization and time management skills are a must. Must speak fluent Danish, and working knowledge of German a plus.
