Elisabeth Kley (b. 1956) is an American artist who lives and works in New York. Kley draws from a range of influences—from the decorative traditions of Islamic, Byzantine, and Asian historical ornaments to patterns of the Wiener Werkstätte—to create paintings and distinctive clay vessels featuring sgraffito botanical and calligraphic motifs.
