Adriana Varej o (b. 1964, Brazil) is a Rio de Janeiro-based artist whose diverse practice includes painting, sculpture, photography, and installation. Throughout her media, Varej o employs decorative motifs drawn from ceramic tile murals to examine the colonial oppression of Brazil through the lens of art history, particularly the baroque period.
